The bag of a lifetime! This rich oil tanned leather messenger bag has a waxy, supple texture and will distress beautifully, gradually developing a soft patina as time goes by.
The bag is sewn using industrial strength leather-grade nylon stitching, and uses matching silver hardware.
It's a large bag - large enough for your laptop, and has an inside pocket perfect for your phone and a smaller one that accommodates your business cards - this is truly an adventure satchel that has you covered for everything and anything! The strap is all leather with a matching buckle allowing you to adjust the length as you wish.
What really makes this bag special is the off-set authentic antique skeleton key accent and the asymmetrical raw edge of the flap. Each order has a different, unique key and a tag sewn to the bag to tell you where your key came from - most are over 100 years old and hail from abandoned warehouses in europe, shipwrecks and all sorts of interesting places (fourth picture).
Over time the leather will develop a beautiful patina.
RAW EDGE FLAP: The flap features the natural raw cut of the leather - we didn't create the shape of the flap, that's how the leather came to us from the tannery. As such, this piece is one-of-a-kind. Your order will NOT have the same shape flap, it will vary based on the natural raw edges of the leather we use to make your order.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This is not the bag you will receive. Your bag will look similar but it will have a different antique key, and a different raw edge flap from the one pictured. The flap will still be asymmetrical and the key will still be offset on the longest side of the flap
