Up for Sale is a Steampunk Table Art Desk Lamp. This Desk or Table Lamp Features Steampunk and Classic Styling using Vintage Parts and New Electrical Components. It has a "Mad Scientist" look to it. This is not only a beautiful and very functional Desk Lamp, but it is Art! I design and make my lamps by hand in Michigan. Each lamp is carefully Designed, Constructed and Wired to optimize Style and Utility. This lamp is a one of a kind.
This Lamp/Desk Art is a Three Light Lamp featuring New Vintage Style Edison Light Bulbs enclosed in Glass Cylinders on top of a Furniture Quality Black Wood Base. The Edison Bulbs gives off a nice mellow glow and are controlled with a dimmer, on/off switch built into the front/center of the base (see photo).
The Black Wood Base of this lamp is a surrounded with Brass Details. The front of the base features 2 Voltage and Amp Gages, mounted with brass acorn nuts. The Cylinder enclosed Edison Bulbs are held in place with brass pipes and Vase Caps....Just Beautiful!
I also use Vintage Style Cloth Covered Lamp Cord and a Vintage Style Plug. The lamp has a Black with a Twisted style cord.
Even though this is a functional Art Piece, I have included new and/or UL Listed electrical components. All wiring, Sockets, Dimmer switch and plugs are new.
There are some old vintage and antique items included on my lamps, but they are non-functional and do not affect the lighting systems. I've included 3 new 40 watt Vintage Style Edison Light bulbs.
